Secretary suspected of killing candidate for councilor in Patrocínio surrenders to the police – Rádio Itatiaia

The secretary of Sponsorship Works, in the Northwest of Minas, Jorge Marra, designated as responsible for the death of Cássio Remis, candidate for city councilor, surrendered to the police this Sunday afternoon. He testifies at the Regional Police Station of the municipality and is heard by the delegates Valter André and Renato Mendonça.

Once the work is completed, the police authorities will hold a virtual press conference. The PCMG Communication Department will send the link minutes before the press conference.

Security cameras near the Sponsorship Department parking lot recorded the homicide.

The images show the secretary arriving at the scene in a white van. She climbs out the passenger door and heads toward her silver truck that was parked. However, Remis appears and tries to recover her cell phone, which had been stolen from Jorge Marra moments before during a live on social networks.

The video shows some men trying to stop the fight, but Remis and Jorge continue to argue. At one point the secretary manages to enter the truck through the driver’s door, where he appears to take the gun. Remis, appears entering the vehicle through the passenger door.

The two then get out of the truck and continue the discussion in the parking lot. When he realizes that Jorge is armed, Remis tries to escape, but is shot five times.

With the former mayor lying in the parking lot and bleeding. The construction secretary gets into his truck and flees the scene at high speed.
