The commotion caused by the fans at the arrival of the Corinthians delegation last Sunday night, at Guarulhos airport, reverberates in the squad this Monday. Scared by the tone of the accusations, some of the players question and criticize each other, especially what they identified as flaws in the club’s security scheme.

In the Corinthians squad it is questioned why some security strategies have not been adopted. The request for police reinforcement and the boarding of the bus directly on the airport runway were summoned to the My helm as alternatives in the understanding of some athletes.

The club was contacted and it was reported through a notice that “when the delegation landed, there were no fans in the lobby and the airport did not report anything different because it was quiet.”

Players were also surprised by the easy access for fans to information such as gate and landing time. Wanted by the report, Gaviões da Fiel explained that it is enough to look at the time of the airlift in the information released by the airport itself and, when identifying the parked bus, guess through which door the delegation would exit.

Regardless of the logistics, the discomfort of the players, obviously, also occurs with the tone of the demands of the fans. The cast was shocked at the way they accused Cassio. The videos show the doorman without reaction, surrounded by security guards and fans and being pushed towards the bus. Seconds earlier, players, fans and security guards were seen running through the lobby. – see the video above.

Although the images of TV Gazeta And social networks did not show in detail, Gabriel was also one of the most loaded athletes. “They threatened ugly” at the wheel, according to one of the reports heard.

Players were also concerned that the confusion would escalate into a widespread beating among other passengers and airport personnel.

The report received messages from some Corinthians players who set the tone for the mood in the squad the day after landing: I think this is unacceptable, imagine for families at home, left, this is irrelevant, they forget they are men from the other side too, it was tense.

In responses on social networks, Gaviões assures that there was no physical aggression.

The Union of Professional Athletes of the State of São Paulo, via an official note, previously announced that it will request the opening of an investigation to investigate the case.

“We have to make some things clear. The one who has to ensure the worker’s safety is the employer, that is, Corinthians. The club that has to act,” said Rinaldo Martorelli, president of the organization, to the Sports Gazette.

Previously, Corinthians, by official note, regretted the uproar at the airport and stressed “that it will always ensure the physical integrity of athletes and employees.” The club also said that “the moment demands tranquility, work and co-responsibility. We have full confidence in the group of players (…) We trust that the necessary response will be given on the field of play.”

Corinthians’ next game is on Wednesday, against Bahia, at Neo Química Arena. Defeated on Sunday against Fluminense, in Maracana, the team is tied in number of points with first place in the relegation zone of the Brazilian Championship.
