São Paulo becomes a creditor of CBF – 11/27/2020

São Paulo decided not to request the cancellation of the match against Ceará – 1-1 draw – due to a serious referee error. Vagner Magalhães annulled a goal by São Paulo, validated the goal and annulled it again, after restarting the game.

There was an annulment argument. If you rebooted, you can’t go back. Why did São Paulo decide not to justify the case?

On an official note, the club:

1) recognize Paul’s handicap.

2) says you don’t want to see a possible title marked with an asterisk.

3) turn off the way the VAR was used, with communication failure.

The third element is the most important. CBF, in a biased way, assumes it was a big mess. It all sums it up to the term “there was a parallel communication” that caused the restart of the game and the subsequent cancellation.

It was the second error against São Paulo recognized by CBF. The first, more serious, was the cancellation of Luciano’s goal against Galo.

By refusing to go to court, São Paulo not only extols its history. It is being placed as a creditor of the VAR.

Let’s move on to the referee’s next mess. Field and video. They are very bad.
