Santos doctor clears up Raniel’s venous thrombosis

The coordinator of the Santos medical department, Ricardo Galotti, clarified the situation of deep vein thrombosis in Raniel’s right leg, which he reported SPEAR!, you must stay away for two months.

According to the doctor, the aggressor’s pain appeared suddenly and, despite the shock, he said that he is considerably better. Raniel was the second Peixe player to be diagnosed with coronavirus, but Galotti has a hard time confirming the relationship.

– He arrived from Paraguay without any pain and the next day he had a lot of pain in his calf, with tightening of the muscles and proportional pain. We suspected deep vein thrombosis, they took him to a diagnostic center and diagnosed the pathology – said Galotti.

– It is stable, it has improved considerably clinically and we expect it to improve gradually. It is difficult to talk about the relationship with covid-19, but covid has shown a thromboembolic phenomenon. I had covid a month ago, it was completely normal. Complications can be pulmonary embolism and compartment syndrome, which are serious cases, he added.

Raniel is admitted to the Hospital Clínica do Esporte, in Goiânia, and has not yet been discharged for transfer to Hospital Sírio Libanês, in São Paulo. The expectation is that this happens this Sunday.
