Samsung may launch its first cell phone with a pop-up camera; see possible design

Samsung has always been considered a little more “conservative” when it comes to the design of its smartphones. So, instead of using emerging mechanisms, the South Korean giant decided to bet on something more “sober” with the Infinity-O, Infinity-V and Infinity-U notches.

However, it seems that the Galaxy A80 will no longer be the only “point outside the curve”. This is because the information revealed by trusted Onleaks indicates that Samsung is working on its first smartphone with a drop-down front camera.

See in the images below that this device appears to have a 6.5-inch screen and has a design language similar to that of the Galaxy A line. Not to mention that it resembles other devices from Huawei, Xiaomi and other Chinese. Take a look at some renderings:

In addition to being somewhat “generic” in design, the device also has a curved back on the sides and bring three cameras assigned in a module in the upper corner Another striking point is that the fingerprint reader is centralized.

This ends up reinforcing the thesis that we are talking about an intermediary. In the following video it is also possible to see that the smartphone still has a USB-C port, but it leaves out the P2 headphone jack.

For now, the Samsung did not demonstrate on the veracity of the leak. Therefore, we warn that everything should be considered as one more rumor. Anyway, if launched, this device will only hit the market after the coronavirus crisis (Covid-19).

What did you think of the first Samsung with a pop-up camera? Would you buy? Tell us your opinion here in the comments.
