The Minister of the Environment, Ricardo Salles, identified a person who worked with him in the past as responsible for the publication on Twitter who called the mayor, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), “Nhonho”, a character from the Mexican series ” Chaves “. “This is the version that the minister works on the malaise caused by Maia, according to the interlocutors of the ministers heard by the Twitter.

Last night (28), Salles’ official profile wrote the nickname in response to Maia’s criticism against him. In the morning, the publication was deleted and the minister reported that he sent a message to Maia justifying that he did not publish it. In a note, he suggested that his account had been hacked and that he would investigate “misuse”. Salles’s Twitter account was later deleted.

Parliamentarians and assistants of Jair Bolsonaro (without a party) said they did not believe in an alleged hacker action. The assessment was that he presented this version as an excuse to reduce the impact of the episode.

According to reports from sources made to the report this afternoon, Salles spoke with this former employee, who despite not working with him anymore, had his Twitter username and password. That person would have been confused with the accounts when he posted and apologized to the minister for “apologizing for the mistake.” The former employee’s name and where he worked with Salles were not released.

Despite the repercussion of the post and the note released, within the folder they treat the matter as closed. Salles was wanted for the report, but declined to comment.

Since yesterday, the minister has been on the agenda in Fernando de Noronha (PE) along with the Minister of Tourism, Marcelo Álvaro Antonio, and the president of Embratur (Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion), Gilson Machado Neto. The agenda, initially, would extend until the weekend, with the negative impact of the post, there is talk of a return before the feast of the Dead, on Monday (2).

Last week, Salles had fired at government military ministers. He accused the Minister of the Government Secretariat, Luiz Eduardo Ramos, of leaking information to the press and called him “gossipy Mary” on Twitter. In that position, Salles had the support of President Bolsonaro’s sons. The episode provoked the disapproval of government military personnel and was criticized by the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP), and by Maia.
