Roads in SP are heavily trafficked after busy beach holidays

With records of crowded beaches during the extended holiday, even with the covid-19 pandemic, the roads that connect the coast and the São Paulo metropolitan region are in intense movement of cars this Sunday 3. There are records of slowness and intense flow in at least 100 kilometers of roads, with reports of “excess vehicles” by responsible dealers.

In the direction of São Paulo, traffic is slow on the Ayrton Senna highway between kilometers 60 and 51, due to “excess vehicles,” according to Ecopistas.

In Tamoios, there are also records of slowness in the mountain range, towards São José dos Campos, with a record of cloudy weather, drizzle and fog, according to the responsible concessionaire.

According to Ecovias monitoring, there is slowness between kilometers 284 and 280 of the Padre Manoel da Nóbrega Highway, towards the city of São Paulo, “due to excess vehicles.” In addition, traffic is intense from kilometers 40 to 55 of Rodovia Anchieta (SP-150), in the capital direction.

In Régis Bittencourt, the flow is intense and with a line of cars, between kilometers 305 and 279, in Embu das Artes, towards São Paulo. To ease traffic, traffic was released on the shoulder between kilometers 281 and 279.

Traffic is also intense in the direction of São Paulo da Fernão Dias (BR-381), between kilometers 27 and 32, in Atibaia, and 44 and 59, in Mairiporã.

In Bandeirantes, traffic is intense between kilometers 57 and 53, in Jundiaí, in the capital direction. In Anhanguera, heavy traffic is located between kilometers 62 and 60, also in Jundiaí, and 27 and 26, in Cajamar, also in the capital direction.

In Raposo Tavares, there is a slowdown between kilometers 56 and 60, in the capital direction, due to an accident on the São Roque express lane. The slowness is repeated in Castello Branco, between kilometers 68 and 43, at the height of the municipalities of Mairinque, São Roque and Araçariguama, on the express lane, towards the capital.
