The city reported that the opening of the Maracanã it will be a test for the fans to return to the other stadiums, like Engenhão and São Januário, but the reopening date has not been announced.
The sale of tickets for the Maracana games must be done through the Internet to avoid queues and crowds.

The mayor of Rio said once again that the return of the public to the stadiums can be a way to reduce the presence of people on the city’s beaches where crowds occur on weekends.
Crivella said law enforcement is harder to do on beaches, where more people are breaking the rules of distance and protection.
In the stadium, according to the mayor, the control will be stricter.
Crivella also said that he will ask CBF to change the game schedule on Sundays in Rio de Janeiro. Understand that if the game starts at 11 in the morning, the possibility that the crowds on the beaches will decrease.

“We will appeal to CBF, in the sense that Maracanã is an alternative to the beach. Today perhaps the biggest problem in Rio is the large crowds on the beaches of people without masks. speaking of 20 thousand fans in Maracaná, 1/3 of its capacity. There would be perhaps 20,000 fewer people on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, ”said Crivella.
