  • Total blindness;
  • Loss of nine or more fingers;
  • Paralysis of the two upper or lower extremities;
  • Loss of lower limbs, above the feet, when the prosthesis is impossible;
  • Loss of one hand and two feet, even if the prosthesis is possible;
  • Loss of an upper and lower limb, when the prosthesis is impossible;
  • Alteration of mental faculties with serious alteration of organic and social life;
  • Illness that requires continuous stay in bed;
  • Permanent inability to activities of daily living.

This increase obeys an idea established in the Federal Constitution in which the State must respect the dignity of the human person.

Therefore, so that the value of the benefit is not reduced in practice, with the need to pay a caregiver, there is an increase for this purpose.

Is the benefit only guaranteed by disability retirement?
