A rescuer from the Arteris Fernão Dias concessionaire, Cirlene Aparecida de Souza, 47, was crushed to death this afternoon while trying to save the lives of two victims of an accident at km 525 of the BR-381, in the Brumadinho region (MG ).
According to information from the Minas Gerais Military Fire Brigade (CBMMG), a car collided with a ravine and fell. The occupants of the vehicle, a man and a pregnant woman, were trapped in the hardware.
To help them, Arteris professionals, who started the service before the military arrived on the scene, used a winch to lift the structure of the car, which ended up giving way and falling on top of the employee.
He did not resist the injuries and death occurred even at the scene of the tragedy.
The two occupants of the car were rescued alive. The pregnant woman was transferred to the Betim Regional Hospital in the Arcanjo aircraft of the Fire Department. The man was taken to the hospital in a dealership ambulance.
In a note, Arteris Fernão Dias noted that Cirlene “died while working for life.”
“The concessionaire, represented by all the friends and colleagues who worked with Cirlene, expresses its solidarity with the collaborator’s relatives for this invaluable loss. Fernão Dias and BR Vida provide the necessary assistance to the relatives at this time,” said the concessionaire.
