The citizen can consult the declaration of social security through Meu INSS, in the option “Declaration of contribution (CNIS)”. If there is an error in the information, it is possible to correct it through My INSS. The institute explains that the update can only be done when a benefit is requested.
Pending documents
When the need to submit additional documentation arises, the institute complies with the requirements. Documents can be sent through Meu INSS or at the agency itself. In the latter case, it will be necessary to make an appointment through phone 135 or the application.
The insured can also choose to deliver the documents through the Express requirement, polls that are at the doors of the agencies from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Upon arriving at the site, the user must complete the following procedure:
