According to Caio Max Augusto Vieira, the deputy directors Eduardo Almgren Ferreira and Jorge Agle Kalil called him a coward at halftime. The abstract says (the original text of the referee is preserved):

Corinthians had two players sent off in the match: Marllon and Otero. The former got a yellow card for entering Matheus Henrique, but the referee changed the decision when he saw a cut on the guild player’s shin – and changed the card to red. He then reviewed the offer on the VAR monitor and upheld the expulsion.
