On the eve of the municipal elections, the “Jornal da Record” this Saturday (14) presented the results of four electoral polls that it commissioned from the Real Time Big Data institute in São Paulo, Goiânia, Belém and Palmas. But he did not show the data of another, which he also hired, in Rio.

The five real-time Big Data surveys were conducted on November 11 and 12 and consolidated on November 13. The Record website published the numbers on Friday (13) at 10:18 pm.

The investigation in Rio, not disclosed by JR, brought candidate Eduardo Paes (DEM) with 33% of voting intentions, and current mayor, Marcelo Crivella (Republicans), and delegate Martha Rocha (PDT) tied for the second place with 15% each.

Closer to the end of the newscast, in a different block from the one shown by the investigation in São Paulo, Goiânia, Belém and Palmas, the JR chose to present the Datafolha data for Rio, more favorable to the candidate Crivella.

The survey conducted for Folha and Globo shows Paes with 40% of voting intentions, followed by the mayor with 18% and Martha Rocha with 13%. The calculation was performed on days 13 and 14. Then, it also showed data from Datafolha for São Paulo.

Crivella, as we know, is the nephew of Edir Macedo, founder and leader of the Universal Church and owner of Record.
