Vázquez and Asensio resolve
The first half started agitated, and Iago Aspas almost scored with less than 5 minutes, with Iago Aspas taking Courtois out and Nacho appearing to make the cut before the ball reached the goal.
After the play, Real quickly went on the attack and scored exactly 18 seconds later, with Vázquez heading into a cross from Asensio.
A home goal at the beginning would be a repeated script in the final stage. At 8 minutes, the merengue team took advantage of an error in the opposite ball, recovered with Modric, Asensio received from Vázquez and sent it to the net.
The second goal thwarted any reaction from Celta, and Zidane’s team took no chances until the final whistle. La Real was not brilliant, but it was solid and won with ease to sleep at the top of the Spanish Championship.
