After the minister Cármen Lúcia, of the Supreme Federal Court, granted a period of 24 hours for GSI Prime Minister General Augusto Heleno and Abin Director Alexandre Ramagem to give explanations about reports that had been done to help the defense of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, Abin’s boss decided to speak.
In his statement, Ramage denied that the agency had produced reports to Guide the defense of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ) in the “case of crackers.”
He only confirmed that he participated in a meeting with the lawyers of the president’s son, but that the meeting did not generate any formal results or use of public structure to justify the lawsuit.
Another defendant, General Augusto Heleno, argued that the Supreme Court should summon journalist Guilherme Amado, from the magazine Time, for him to present the aforementioned reports.
“In this sense, I would like to mention to the STF the summons of the journalist who has the data of the alleged document prepared by Abin to provide the aforementioned reports so that it is possible to adopt the appropriate measures.”
Both argued that the meeting with Flávio’s lawyers is not illegal, since it is up to the GSI to ensure the safety of the president and his family.
