The Federal Government has extended the payment of emergency help for another 4 months. The next installments, called residual emergency assistance, will be R $ 300.

The beneficiaries will automatically receive four more installments in the amount of R $ 300 and, for mothers who are heads of households, the amount is doubled, with four installments in the amount of R $ 600.

Calendar of Payments

The new installments will be paid after the final payments of the current amount, R $ 600. Payments to Bolsa Família beneficiaries must follow the program calendar and be released in the last ten business days of September, October, November and December.

The rest of the workers, on the other hand, will receive payments until December. However, to date, the calendar has not been defined. The provisional measure indicates that payments will be made until December 31.

Not all workers who received the R $ 600 will receive the R $ 300

Among the changes, the government excluded the possibility of closed prisoners and Brazilians residing abroad receiving emergency aid. The Provisional Measure takes effect immediately, however, it will be evaluated by Congress.
