The criminal action that took place at dawn on Tuesday (24) in Araraquara resulted in the theft of approximately R $ 5 million, according to information from the Military Police.
The money and items such as jewelery of the account holders were found in the ATMs and in the safe of the Caixa Econômica Federal branch, located on Avenida Brasil, in the center of Araraquara. The place was blown up with explosives.
Banco do Brasil, which was also invaded by the gang, had no cash and nothing was taken.
According to police information, the amount was taken as an embargo and also in cash.
