The PlayStation 5 (PS5) began its pre-sale in Brazil last Thursday (17) and is already sold out in some of the authorized stores. Sony’s new video game is scheduled for November 19 in Brazil, for the price of R $ 4,999 in the standard version, or R $ 4,499 in a digital edition, without the Blu-Ray disc player. Most stores offer the console in 12 interest-free installments of R $ 416.58 and some extend the offer from 24 to 30 times on the brand’s card. Most sites do not offer a cash discount, which usually happens because it is a pre-sale.
The standard model can still be found in many stores, however the digital version of R $ 4,499 seems to have been the favorite among gamers and is sold out in all e-commerce. The last units of the digital edition were sold in Magazine Luiza around 5:00 p.m.

It is worth mentioning that the digital model of the PlayStation 5, which costs R $ 4,499, does not offer backward compatibility with the physical media of the PlayStation 4, since it does not have a Blu-Ray player. This version continues to be compatible with games purchased digitally through the PlayStation Store, which, according to Sony statements, includes 99% of the console’s collection.
