Following the investigation into the murder of Alexander Alves, new information has reached the Blumenau Civil Police. In testimony to Chief Juraci Darolt, another detainee who witnessed the crime claims that the victim was a member of the First Santa Catarina Group, a criminal faction known as PGC.

Although the colleague claims that Alexander has been with the faction for about four years, the staff at the Penitentiary are unaware of the fact.

According to them, none of the prisoners in the G59 cell was part of a faction. However, they were three meters from the gallery of cells occupied by members of the PGC. What allows communication between them.

According to the perpetrator of the murder, Luiz Carlos Keller, the fight started after Alexander received a note in which his last name could be read. He understood that it was a death threat to him or his brother, who was in the same cell.

The version was confirmed by a witness, who added that Alves had already claimed to have killed another member of the PGC.

The agents and the director of the Blumenau Industrial Penitentiary stated that it is impossible to follow all the tickets circulating in the institution. Although some are intercepted, many are dropped or swallowed before being read by security guards.

The delegate from the 2nd Police Station declared the case closed, pending the expert report. Keller will be charged with felony murder.

The cameras recorded only part of the crime

The physical fight between Alves and Keller started around 7:15 pm. Alves would have been slow to enter the discussion, but when he got out of bed he gave the first tie.

Keller, being bigger than the victim, would have managed to free himself. Then he leaned against the bed to use his momentum and kick Alves in the face.

Part of the crime was recorded by security cameras. But the angle of the cell did not allow the murder itself to be recorded.

Also according to his cellmate, Keller hit Alves in the mouth before giving him the tie that knocked him down. With a last kick to the jaw, he would have pressed his right foot against the victim’s face until he was sure that he died.

Apparently the victim’s chest was split open with a razor blade. The possibility that the author used another tool that had illegally entered the cell and discarded it out the window cannot be ruled out.

However, the cellmate stated that he first attempted it with a blade to the left side of his chest, without success. Then he used another to open his chest in half. The heart was extracted with his own hands, with great effort. In his report, the witness claims that he picked up the organ, which was still beating, to show it to his companions, stating that he had nothing to lose.

Keller would then have used his clothes to clean up the blood. Then she washed and changed clothes. That was before calling the security guards and declaring that he had committed the crime.

The author himself removed Alves’ body from the cell, on a mattress. Then he placed a clear plastic bag with the heart on the side. The scene was recorded by the cameras.
