Retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) should prepare for year-end expenses, as they will not receive the second installment of the 13th salary in December. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the municipality anticipated the payment of the Christmas bonus.

The first installment of the thirteenth salary is usually paid, in advance, in August / September, by presidential decree. However, this year, the payment was made between April and May.
The second installment, which is normally awarded in November / December, was paid between May 25 and June 5. This year’s anticipation was provided in Provisional Measure 927, signed by President Jair Bolsonaro on March 22.
