The Civil Police of Mato Grosso concluded the investigation into the death of 14-year-old Isabele Guimarães Ramos, who was shot in the head on July 12 in a luxury condominium in Cuiabá. The conclusion was that the shooting of her friend, also 14 years old, was intentional. The young woman will answer for an offense for intentional homicide, when there is an intention to kill.
The teen’s father will also respond criminally. He was charged with possession of a firearm, homicide, procedural fraud and delivery of a weapon to a teenager.
The girl’s boyfriend, a 16-year-old teenager, who took the gun to the teenager’s home and his father will also answer in court. In her case, she is charged with a crime analogous to the illegal possession of a firearm and her father will respond for failing to take care of the weapon, since the weapon belonged to her.
According to Wagner Bassi, from the Homicide and Personal Protection Police (DHPP), at a press conference this Wednesday (2/9), the teenager loaded the gun, pointed it at her friend’s face and fired from a distance of 20cm to 30cm .
According to the delegate, the investigation indicates that there are indications that the crime scene was altered before the arrival of the police.
The conclusion of the police is that, on the day of the crime, the teenager’s boyfriend took the gun home. When she left, one of the guns was loaded and kept in the case. After the girlfriend left, the teenager would have gone up to the bedroom and then went to the bathroom with the gun, where her friend was. One minute and 18 seconds later, the shot occurred that killed Isabele.
