Civil and Military Police teams arrested a 25-year-old man on Friday afternoon (23), suspected of participating in the death of a reserve sergeant of the Military Police and a businessman who worked in the business of sale of chickens in Maranguape. in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. The crime occurred on Thursday night (22).
The first police surveys indicate that the businessman and the prime minister were traveling in a vehicle when they collided with the car and were approached by armed men. The businessman did not resist the injuries and died inside the vehicle. After the crash, the sergeant managed to get out of the car and tried to escape, but was pursued and killed.
The suspect in the crime, identified as Francisco Erverson Xavier Ferreira de Moura, was located in the district of Boa Vista dos Valentins, in Maranguape, and was transferred to the city’s Metropolitan Police Station, where he was fined in flagrante delicto for homicide after providing clarification on the case.
The Civil Police continues to take steps to capture others involved in the crime and discover the motivation.

The Ceará Military Police (PMCE) issued a note of condolence for the death of First Sergeant PM RR Juscelino Araújo Chaves, who joined the corporation on July 20, 1981. Currently, the military were in the paid reserve.
