French police on Friday arrested a second man suspected of having had contact with the Tunisian Brahim Aouissaoui, the author of the attack on a church in the city of Nice.
According to radio Europe 1, citing judicial sources, the suspect was arrested as a result of an anti-terrorist investigation by the French authorities.
The investigation reveals that the man had come into contact with the Tunisian after his arrival in Europe via the Italian island of Lampedusa.
Yesterday (29), a 47-year-old man was also arrested for allegedly having a connection with Aouissaoui, a 21-year-old who killed three people, including a Brazilian, at Notre-Dame de Nice.
