A soldier from the 2nd Company of the 13th Battalion of Military police from Saint Paul he was arrested on the spot on Friday the 4th, after threatening and pointing a gun at another military police officer on duty. The situation occurred in Santa Ifigênia, a popular technology business district in the central region of the São Paulo capital, and was filmed by several witnesses.

According to a report from the portal Uol, the conflict occurred because the arrested prime minister was accused by his colleague of taking too long to return from the lunch break. He would have said that he would report the case to his superiors, since that day he could no longer go out to eat.

The Ministry of Public Security issued a note, in which it indicates that the policeman who drew the weapon was transferred to the Romão Gomes military prison and will respond for threats and violence against a superior. “The SSP emphasizes that both the Military Police and the Civil Police offer support and monitoring programs to their personnel,” the text adds.
