PJF publishes resolution that regresses Juiz de Fora to the red wave

The Juiz de Fora City Council published at dawn on Thursday (24) a new resolution that reclassifies the city in the red wave of the Conscious Mines Program. The measure, approved at the last meeting of the Coronavirus Prevention and Confrontation Committee, held on Tuesday (22), is valid from Saturday (26) and will initially continue until January 7. The new text reinforces that, during this period, only essential services can function.

Depending on the device, the activities in which face-to-face assistance is carried out to the public, in commercial establishments and service providers, are suspended. The ban especially highlights shopping centers, galleries and similar establishments.

Other prohibitions
According to the resolution, events and activities with public presence, although previously authorized, were also suspended. Among them, those that involve crowds of people, such as sporting events, recreational and leisure sports activities, extracurricular activities, concerts, fairs, circuses, scientific events, marches and the like, including drive-through attractions (at the door or outside of the establishment) and drive-in (car interior).

Bars, restaurants and bakeries
Also in accordance with the resolution, consumption in bars, restaurants, bakeries and markets was also prohibited again. However, there are no restrictions on delivery services, either in the form of home delivery (delivery) or for deliveries to the door of the establishment (drive through). The resolution reinforces that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited within private establishments and in public areas of the municipality.

Property rental for events

The rental of real estate and private spaces such as farms for private events is also suspended, regardless of the number of people. The responsibility, in these cases, rests with the owner of the property, or with the authorized lawyer, such as real estate agents, or websites, which may be subject to the sanctions provided in the regulations.

Religious activities will only be allowed in remote and virtual meetings, masses and services, whether on television, radio or the internet. In these cases, the resolution establishes that the transmission sites must have a maximum of 30 people in the same environment.

Assistance in municipal administration services should also be carried out remotely whenever possible, except in the case of health, security and civil defense services.

What can work on the red wave in Juiz de Fora

Establishments that can continue to operate include hospitals, clinics, including veterinarians, laundries, cleaning services, and hotels. In the food business, supermarkets and the like, including products for animals, bakeries, butchers and fishmongers. Home delivery and pick-up at the counter are still allowed in bars and restaurants.

Other enterprises that can continue to operate without restrictions are gas stations and derivatives, transporters, warehouses, motor vehicle workshops and kiosks. In addition to these, security services, including private ones, are also included among the permitted activities.

Social communication media made by press or radio broadcasting and sound and image companies are also authorized. As well as telecommunications and internet services, lotteries, banks and funeral homes.
