Those who have not yet PIS / Pasep wage subsidy, Calendar 2019/2020, should pay attention to the new retirement closing date announced by the federal government. With a one-month reduction, workers entitled to the benefit have until May 29 to withdraw the amounts.
Previously, those who worked on a formal contract in 2018 for at least 30 days (one month) or 12 full months (one year), could withdraw between R $ 87.00 and R $ 1,045.00 until June 31. However, due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the government has anticipated the schedule as a way to streamline payments for the 2020-2021 allocation, scheduled to begin on July 16.
Who is entitled and what is the value?
Those entitled to a 2019-2020 salary allowance are those who worked on a formal contract in the base year (2018) for at least 30 days, and had a monthly average of up to two minimum wages. You must still be enrolled in PIS / Pasep for at least 5 years and have your data updated in Annual list of social information (RAIS), the responsibility of the employer.
The amount of the payment is directly associated with the number of months worked, also in the base year. See the table below:
How to know if you have the right and withdrawal forms
Anyone who still has doubts about whether or not they have the right to withdraw, simply consult the site Caixa.gov.br/PIS, in the “Consult payment” tab. For this, it is necessary to inform the NIS / PIS / Pasep number. Another way to find out if money is available is to call Caixa 0800 126 0207.
Regarding the forms of withdrawal of the assignment, the worker who has the Citizen Card + Password may exchange the amounts at Caixa’s ATMs or lottery stores. If you are not in possession of the card, simply go to any state-owned company agency, ID in hand.
Remembering that this only applies to private sector employees. Public servants entitled to Pasep must verify whether there was a deposit in the profit account at any Banco do Brasil self-service terminal, if they are the holder of an account at the institution. In other situations, information can be obtained by calling 0800 729 0001.
