A man died after a helicopter crashed around 7:00 p.m. in the Vila Histórica de Mambucaba region, in Angra dos Reis, on the Costa Verde, in Rio. The information was confirmed at Twitter by the Angra dos Reis Fire Department. The man, a pilot of the aircraft, was found in a river near the crash at 8:43 p.m.
Three Fire Brigade teams are at the scene attending to the incident and conducting searches. There is still no information on the causes of the accident.
According to the Civil Defense of Paraty, the helicopter for private use tried to land on the golf course of the Hotel de Bosque, a hotel considered of high level, but failed. The propeller hit the transmission line and left the city of Paraty, as well as part of Angra dos Reis, in darkness.
According to the Federal Highway Police, part of the wiring fell on Rio-Santos, at km 531. The road had to be closed in both directions. The PRF reported that traffic flows along the shoulder.

The president visits Angra
