PF fulfills more than 200 arrest warrants in investigation against drug trafficking; Justice blocks R $ 400 million | Parana

The Federal Police is executing 215 court orders, 66 of which are for arrest and 149 for search and seizure, in an operation against international drug trafficking and money laundering.

The lawsuit was called Enterprise and R $ 400 million in assets of those investigated were seized by court order. According to the Federal Treasury, 37 requests for the seizure, as well as seizures, of aircraft were granted.

The orders are being executed in cities of Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pará, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Norte, Bahia and Pernambuco.

The Enterprise operation is considered the largest of the year in the fight against money laundering from drug trafficking and one of the largest in history in the seizure of cocaine in Brazilian ports, according to the PF.

In total, 670 federal police officers and 30 other Federal Revenue Service officials are involved in the action, and more than 50 tons of cocaine have been seized since the investigations began, according to the PF.

According to the PF, the investigation lasted more than two years and indicates that the two ports most used by traffickers were Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, and Paranaguá, on the coast of Paraná. The drug, according to research, was largely shipped to Europe.

The money laundering scheme, still according to the PF, involved billionaires in Brazil and abroad with the use of various intermediaries, known as oranjas, and front companies, with the aim of giving a legitimate appearance to the profit from trafficking.

Among the assets of those investigated, who are the target of judicial kidnapping, are airplanes, real estate and luxury vehicles.
