The PF (Federal Police) concluded a second investigation that indicates, again, that there were no attackers against Jair Bolsonaro, stabbed during an act of his presidential campaign in the city of Juiz de Fora (MG), on September 6, 2018.

“Until now, the investigation, continually marked by technical rigor, has shown that Adélio Bispo de Oliveira acted alone, on his own initiative, being responsible for planning the criminal action and its execution, without, at any time, with the support of third parties, “reads the second open investigation into the case, delivered to the Federal Court in Minas Gerais.

The information was published on the G1 website and confirmed by the Twitter. The first survey, completed in 2018, had already reached the same conclusion.

The investigation of the attack was one of the reasons for the disagreement between the then Minister of Justice, Sergio Moro, and the President of the Republic.

In a statement given to the PF, the former minister said Bolsonaro had access to investigative work on the case. Moro also said that the president alleged an “alleged lack of commitment” on the part of the PF to justify the replacement of the then general director, Maurício Valeixo.

According to Moro, at that time, Bolsonaro “did not present any setback in relation to what was presented to him.”

The former Lava Jato judge said the information was presented because he understood that “there was no legal secrecy” in the case, because Bolsonaro was a victim and because it involved national security.

Moro left a briefcase on April 24. On that occasion, he called the press to announce his departure and made several accusations against Bolsonaro, including that the President wanted to access confidential information from PF’s investigations.

President Jair Bolsonaro defended in late April that the PF reopened the investigation into the assassination attempt on him in the 2018 election campaign.

“I have no evidence, I have a feeling. Whatever the Federal Police can do, within the law, to find out who paid Adélio to kill me, they will do it,” he told reporters.

Last year, the Federal Court found that Adélio Bispo could not be executed due to a mental disorder, and the defense of the President of the Republic did not even appeal the decision. Bishop was diagnosed with persistent delusional disorder and is admitted to the Jorge Vaz Psychiatric Hospital of Custódia, in Barbacena (MG).
