The researchers identified that, in 2021, the confidential data of natural and legal persons was made available in an Internet forum. The page specializes in exchanging information about cyber activities.

Information from individuals and companies was presented on this website, such as CPF and CNPJ, full name and address.

According to the PF, the disclosure of part of the sensitive data was carried out free of charge by a user of the forum who, at the same time, exposed the sale of the rest of the sensitive information, which could be acquired with cryptocurrencies.

After due diligence, the Federal Police identified the hacker suspected of obtaining, disclosing and commercializing the data, as well as another hacker who would be selling the data through their social networks.
