The defense of businessman Marcos Araújo, a partner at AudioMix, said he would take legal action against Pétala Barreiros, who accused him of assault.
In a note, lawyer Luiz Flávio Borges D’Urso said that his client was surprised by the accusations of the ex-wife, which he described as “serious and unfounded lies.”
D’urso also points out that Marcos and Pétala have been divorced since March and that the businessman fulfills all his obligations as a father, “whether economic or emotional.”
“There are more and more slight and lying accusations that Mrs. Pétala has been reiterating, using lies, distorted facts, out of context and visibly edited videos, to give the wrong impression, sought by Mrs. Pétala, that she would be a victim,” he added .
“As for such false, unfounded and lying accusations, all the pertinent legal measures are being taken, especially in the criminal sphere,” he added.
Finally, the defense says that it wants to clarify the case to restore the honor and reputation, as well as that of AudioMix, which “have suffered losses as a result of these false accusations.”
Today, one day after posting videos showing alleged assaults by her ex-husband, Pétala went to the police station to press charges.
He showed on Instagram some threatening messages that he has received from Instagram profiles since he decided to expose his situation. Earlier, quite nervous, she filmed a policeman, cried and ventured about the service: “I thought they would receive me and listen to me at the police station and I did not go. I need help.”
Later, Pétala posted a video at his home, saying that the mayor of São Paulo, Bruno Covas, contacted him and told him that he would take the necessary measures.
Marcos Araújo’s Audiomix company manages the careers of various artists: Alok, Gusttavo Lima, Simone and Simaria, Wesley Safadão, Luan Santana, among others.
Separation
The controversy between Pétala and Marcos Araújo began this week, after Goiás confirmed a conflictive ending with her ex-husband, which involved accusations of treason and jealousy.
“I just confirmed an event that happened in our house, I didn’t understand why it arose now because it was already one, it was in November of last year, I don’t care if they were together or not, I even have to thank them for that. Things have changed” , defended on Instagram.
The name of Lívia Andrade, current businessman, also entered the controversy and the presenter decided to file a lawsuit against Pétala after being called a lover.
