This Saturday (31) the world was surprised with the news of the death of actor Sean Connery. At the age of 90, the first film agent 007 passed away in Nassau, Bahamas. For all his importance to world entertainment, the actor has received various honors across the planet. One of them will be Flamengo, who will give the 007 shirt to Éverton Ribeiro.

The tribute to Connery will be paid in the game this Sunday (1), when Flamengo will host São Paulo, in Maracanã, at 4 pm (Brasilia time), for the 19th round of Brasileirão.

Sean Connery was passionate about soccer. He was a player in his youth and was very close to being a Manchester United player, but ended up choosing the path of cinematographic art.

He was the first interpreter of James Bond, famous secret agent 007, with several films of the English franchise. Connery’s debut as an agent was in the 1962 film “007 Against the Satanic Dr. No”.

In an official statement on its website, Flamengo explained the case of placing two zeros before the number seven of Éverton Ribeiro to pay this tribute to the artist.
