One of the four passengers who were inside the car shot by gunfire died during the afternoon of this Sunday (4), in the Vitória Center. The man to whom his identity was not revealed came to the rescue of the State Hospital for Emergencies and Emergencies (HEUE), the former São Lucas, in Vitória, but did not resist his injuries.
Still at the crime scene, the man driving the car also lost his life when he was struck. In addition to them, two people were injured and were taken by ambulance to an emergency room. The fifth occupant of the vehicle was unhurt. At least 12 shots were visible on the side of the vehicle.
The victims were in a red car on Avenida Governador José Sette, when the criminals aboard a white car fired the shots. They then fled along Avenida Princesa Isabel and Curva do Saldanha, towards Praia do Canto, and have not yet been located by the authorities.
Initial information shows that the driver is driving towards applications, but that, in this case, he would be in a private race, returning with passengers from the beach.
There were the Military Police, as well as the Civil Police. The driver’s wife also attended, spoke to police, but did not give an interview and was referred to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP), which is investigating the case. As of Sunday night (4), the identity of the suspects and the motive for the crime had not yet been clarified.
