The closure adopted by Governor Ibaneis Rocha begins on Sunday (2/28) in the Federal District. The measure was taken due to the increase in covid-19 infections and the overcrowding of intensive care units (ICU). The decree that will be published in the next few hours will contain detailed regulations, but it is defined that parks, gyms and beauty salons will not be able to open. The measurements will be valid 24 hours a day.

Article 2. All commercial and industrial activities and establishments, including:
I – events, of any nature, that require a license from the Government;
II – collective cinema and theater activities;
III – educational activities in all schools, universities and colleges, in public and private educational networks;
IV – sports academies of all modalities;
V – museums;
VI – zoological, ecological, recreational, urban, living and similar parks;
VII – discos and nightclubs;
VIII – assistance to the public in shopping malls, popular fairs and recreational clubs;
a) in shopping centers the operation of laboratories, health clinics and pharmacies and the delivery service are authorized;
IX – commercial establishments of any nature, including bars, restaurants and the like;
X: beauty salons, hairdressers, nail polishes and beauty centers;
XI – kiosks, foodtrucks and trailers for the sale of food;
XII – body and paint shops;
XIII – street commerce in general; Y
XIV – civil construction.

Sole paragraph. The necessary adjustments to comply with the school calendar will be established by the Department of Education of the State of the Federal District, after the return of classes.

Art. 3 The suspension provided for in art. 2 of this Decree the following services:
I – supermarkets;
II – horticultural products;
III – mini-markets;
IV – grocery stores;
V – gas stations;
VI – trade in pharmaceutical products;
VII – hospitals, clinics and medical and dental offices, laboratories and pharmaceutical companies;
VIII – veterinary clinics;
IX – wholesale trade;
X – warehouses for veterinary drugs or disinfectants;
XI – funeral homes and related services;
XII – convenience stores and mini-markets at gas stations exclusively for the sale of products;
XIII – energy, water, sewerage, telephone and garbage collection services;
XIV – warehouses for building materials; Y
XV – cults, masses and rituals of any creed or religion.
Paragraph 1 Delivery, drive-thru and take-out operations are authorized, without opening the establishment to serve the public at its facilities.
§2º In all commercial establishments authorized to operate, the consumption of products in the place and the availability of tables and chairs are prohibited.
