Regulation time ended with a 1-1 draw, the first goal was from Corinthians, the owner of the house, 20 minutes into the second half. The play, however, had a strange failure from goalkeeper Leandro, Palmeiras. Jhow returned the ball to the teammate who, fooled by the small hill on Fazendinha’s grass, ended up releasing and let Timão open the scoring.

Shortly after, in the 31st minute, Palmeiras managed to equalize on a corner kick. Taking the decision on penalties, Gilmey Aymberê, Alviverde coach, repeated what he did in the semifinal, and put the substitute goalkeeper, Kaíque, just 17 years old, to defend the goal in the collection.

And if the headline failed, the reserve shone. An important part of the classification in the final by defending a penalty in the semifinals against Audax, Kaíque was the great hero of Alviverde’s conquest of the eleventh São Paulo title in the category. Entering the final minutes, the goalkeeper made the traitor’s move worthwhile and took three of Corinthians’ four charges.

Kaique defended the charges of Gabriel Araújo, Lucas Pires and Eduardo Tanque and only Mandaca managed to overcome the Palmeiras goalkeeper. Meanwhile, on the other side, Pedro Bicalho, Kevin and Ramón Rocha scored and Robert sent, without the Corinthians goalkeeper Yago being able to make a defense.

Kaique’s first defense was in Gabriel Araújo’s parade, then another in Luan Pires’ mid-height strike. The two could have been enough if Robert did not isolate the ball, yet another blow that had a chance to put Timão back in the fray, another defender in the shot from forward Eduardo Tanque.

With the tie and 3 to 1 on penalties, Verdão won its eleventh São Paulo trophy of the categories, being the fourth in a row. In addition, with this new achievement, the team will close the decade as the greatest state champion in the grassroots categories with 14 titles: four in the U-20, two in the U-17, three in the U-15, two in the U-13. and three on the U-11.
