A closed operation eight establishments which operated in disagreement with the state decree that provides for sanitary measures to combat the new coronavirus, this Saturday (12), in Benfica neighborhood. More than 100 vehicles were boarded.

The secretariats of the Public Safety and Social Defense (SSPDS), the Penitentiary Administration (SAP) and the organs of the City of Fortaleza participated in the action, counting on the work of the Operational Planning Coordination (Copol), Civil and Military Police of Ceará, Fire Department, Forensic Expertise, Inspection Agency of Fortaleza (Agefis), the Municipal Guard of Fortaleza (GMF) and the Municipal Authority of Transit and Citizenship (AMC).

All establishments were evaluated by Agefis since they are in operation even with the prohibition of the state decree that establishes the operation of restaurants only.

In the region, blitzes coordinated by the AMC and also by the Urban and Road Traffic Police Battalion (BPRE), of the PMCE. Of that number, nine cars and a motorcycle were seized with some irregularity. Eighteen notices of violations were also applied.

Two people were transferred to a Civil Police station on suspicion of intoxication and their vehicles and CNH were seized, with administrative notification, for refusing to take the breathalyzer test.

Anklets and drugs

In the same neighborhood, the criminal police investigated nine people with electronic anklets. A man who tried to flee after noticing the presence of SAP teams was caught on the spot with drugs. 30 packages of marijuana and 15 packages of cocaine were seized. The event was held in the 34th Police District (DP).
