This Tuesday (01), Nvidia finally unveiled its RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 video cards, which can be up to two times more powerful than the RTX 2000 lineup and hit an impressive 30 teraflops. Models will arrive between September and October, costing between $ 499 and $ 1,499.
Among the novelties are, as expected, a performance increase of up to two times compared to the previous line, almost double the energy efficiency and several updates in the technologies of the Tensor Cores and RT Cores, in charge of intelligence processing artificial and ray tracing. , respectively, which will be twice as powerful in the second generation. The Ampere line will have GDDR6X memory, which can reach up to 1 TB / s of memory width for graphics applications.

Other novelties of the Ampere line
In addition to everything announced by Nvidia about the RTX Ampere line, other technologies were presented, such as better thermal solutions that promise to decrease up to 30ºC during use compared to the previous line and various solutions for gamers, such as Nvidia Reflex (which reduces latency in games like Call of Duty: War Zone me Fortnite), the addition of the AV1 codec and more.
The company also revealed that other games will receive Ray Tracing, such as Fortnite me Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. Various other games, like Cyberpunk 2077, Watch Dogs Legion, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, ready or not it will be compatible with DLSS technology. Finally, Nvidia also revealed that top-of-the-line cards will also be able to run at 8K resolutions with DLSS technology.
