Ninho fire survivor scores on debut and gets excited at Allianz

Forward Pablo Ruan made his big debut with the U-17 team of the Palms this Saturday afternoon. One of the survivors of the Ninho do Urubu fire, the young man scored in the 6-1 victory over Sport and was excited about the achievement achieved in Allianz Parque, for the Brazilian Championship of the category.

“First of all, I can only thank God and my family for all the support. At first everything was very difficult because of what happened, because I lost friends, practically brothers. God gave me strength and today I am here in Palmeiras in search of my dream, ”said Pablo.

Born in Curitiba, the young man spent two years in Flamengo and lived the fire that ended with 10 deaths in February 2019. After leaving the club on his own, he was hired by Palmeiras at the beginning of the year and even played in a U-18 tournament, but, due to the pandemic, he made his debut in U-17 team only this Saturday.
