New models are coming! P40 Pro and Y9 appear on the Huawei page in Brazil with specifications and colors

In an interview with TudoCelular in early January, Huawei stated that it did not rule out bringing mobile phones to Brazil, even without access to Google applications, absent due to the fight between the manufacturer and the United States government. And the statement was not a bluff.

After surprisingly announcing the Huawei Nova 5T in the Brazilian market, two new models are highlighted on the Brazilian page of the Chinese manufacturer: the Huawei P40 Pro and the Huawei Y9s. Models are not yet available for purchase, nor have confirmed prices, but there is a button to subscribe.

The page also shows the color options for each model: while the intermediate comes with two options (Black and Breathing Crystal), the top of the line will have five variants (Frost Silver, Flush Gold, Navy Blue, Ice White and Black).

In the Y9, Huawei highlights on its page some of its main attributes, such as the 6.59 “inch Ultra FullView screen, the triple rear camera set, with the main 48 MP with artificial intelligence, in addition to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage and 4000 mAh battery. The front camera emerges, ensuring a screen / body ratio of 91 %.The device works with the Kirin 710F chipset and features the EMUI 9.1 user interface.

The top of the line, which has already been approved by Anatel, has a wide dedicated page, as you can imagine. The title says “Visionary Photography” and, just at the top, the first detail: support for 5G, which is not yet in the commercial stage in the country. The high-quality renders highlight the premium aspects of the design, especially the Quad-Curve Overflow display with a 90Hz refresh rate, in addition to the colors. One of the excerpts talks about colors: “Refractive matte finish accentuates an ethereal sense of depth that reveals elegance and inner peace in all shades”.

Since the new P40 Pro is not compatible with Google applications, and that includes the Play Store, Huawei brings a dedicated page that explains what AppGallery, its own application store, is. It highlights factors such as security, content curation, and intelligence. The image at the top of the page shows, by way of illustration, an image of last year’s model, the P30 Pro.
