Bus tickets on the Transcol lines, which serve the entire Gran Vitória, can no longer be paid for with money starting next Sunday (17). The decision was announced by the government early Wednesday night (12).
In his speech, Governor Renato Casagrande reported that all passengers will have to use the ticket cards, the so-called individual tickets. Collectors will no longer be part of the collectives.
“The cards will be offered in mobile units, in terminals and even in pharmacies. The objective is not to circulate the money, which is an object that can transmit the virus and pass from one person to another. We will also have one less person in the bus, who is the collector. This helps him protect himself by not having contact with other people, “argued Casagrande.
Collectors will be removed, a situation allowed by the company during the pandemic by law, maintaining the employment relationship and reducing wages.
“The collector will be removed from its activity for 60 days and then may return. Some will be directed to sell cards in terminals, pharmacies and mobile units,” said the governor.
The report contacted the president of the Union of Highway Workers to understand the situation of the collectors, how many will take other positions and how many will have a salary reduction, but so far we have not been able to return WhatsApp calls and messages.
WHAT IS THE SINGLE TICKET?
The individual ticket is a ticket card that contains cash credits for automatic ticket payment. The passenger does not need to pay in cash, just present the card in the card reader installed inside the bus. Each time it is used, the value of the ticket is deducted from the total number of credits that the passenger has on the card.
Since September 2019, Transcol’s new air-conditioned buses have only accepted the individual ticket for ticket payment.
HOW TO BUY
The user can buy the card at points of sale from R $ 10. Only the presentation of the CPF is required. The individual ticket can be purchased at the following points:
- Ufes – Campus Goiabeiras – Vitória
- Jacaraípe – Serra Terminal
- Laranjeiras – Serra Terminal
- Vila Velha Terminal – Vila Velha
- Vila Velha Terminal – Vila Velha
- Campo Grande Terminal – Cariacica
- 43 pharmacies in the Farmes network
- Travel bus that will remain in neighborhoods where there are no terminals or outlets. The schedule where the itinerary bus will run is available on the website https://www.cartaogv.com.br.
RECHARGE
Cards can be loaded with credits. There are 60 recharging points spread across Gran Vitória. The amount of R $ 10 for the purchase of the card is also converted into credits.
In addition to charging points and self-service in terminals, passengers who use electronic tickets can recharge their cards, including migrated ones, online at www.cartaogv.com.br. The Vale Transporte modality also offers online top-up for employers at the email address.
The Transcol system user only passes the card through a ticket validator. It is also possible to use the same card on municipal road systems.
