Microsoft released the minimum, recommended and ideal configuration

The new Microsoft Flight Simulator, slated for release in 2020, is currently in the testing phase. Although the simulator does not yet have a release date set, Microsoft has already released the hardware configurations necessary to run the game in a short announcement posted on its blog.

Considering the visual quality of the game, the recommended settings are not very demanding. The free disk space required may be a problem for some users: the minimum and recommended settings require a HD or SSD with at least 150GB free, while ideal configurations requires an SSD with at least 150GB free. Microsoft’s announcement does not mention frame rates per second achieved by the minimum, recommended, and ideal settings.

In the case of Internet connection speed, this is necessary for the game to offer map data from the Bing Maps service hosted by Microsoft Azure so that players have a more accurate and immersive experience.
