The first lady, Michelle Bolsonaro, wants the song “Micheque”, written by the rock band Detonautas, to go off the air. The song makes a satirical allusion to the check deposits worth R $ 89 thousand that Fabrício Queiroz, former assistant of Flávio Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ), investigated for a “cracked” scheme and his wife would have made.

Last Thursday (9/24), Michelle filed a complaint with the Electronic Crimes Commissariat of the State Criminal Investigations Department (DEIC) in São Paulo, claiming to be a victim of crime, insult, slander and defamation. The requirement is that the work is removed from digital platforms and its execution in public or private places is prohibited.

The composition is by the singer of the Detonautas, Tico Santa Cruz, and has a special participation by Marcelo Adnet. At the beginning of the song, the comedian imitates the voice of the president in reference to the phrase he said to a journalist when asked about Michelle and the checks. “My wish is to fill your mouth with fights, okay?” The letter revolves around the question and asks the First Lady where the money comes from.

Check out the full song:

“Hey Michelle, tell us here
Is the money that entered your account from Queiroz?
Hello Captain, how did this happen?
Raise your hand and thank God
Zero one is Willy Wonka
Zero two is Bananinha
Zero three, Tonho da Lua who runs the gang.
He spends the day conspiring, creating trouble
But it’s all good people, good-hearted people
Hey Michelle, tell us here
Is the money that entered your account from Queiroz?
Hello Captain, how did this happen?
Raise your hand and thank God
Bind rapá, who do you think you fooled?
Now come here and show everything you preached
Because I, I don’t know, when we pass someone behind
And impunity is always taking more risks!
The risk is higher and greed takes it all then
And the more there is, the more the owner of the situation feels
Just not with me. You never cheated on me
So answer how that money came “

Freedom of expression

Musician Tico Santa Cruz commented on the situation through social media on Saturday. According to him, music represents the “legitimate desire to express freedom of expression.” The artist concludes by justifying that the lyrics of the song do not constitute slander or defamation.
