Police name funkeiro as author of videos extolling Ceará drug trafficker Mago Caucaia
In a joint action, police officers from the Coordination of Special Resources (CORE) and agents of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) arrested Alexandre Magno Rodrigues, MC Fabuloso, on the morning of Sunday 1, in Baixada Fluminense. The action was developed in support of the Commissariat for the Repression of Organized Criminal Action (DRACO), of the Civil Police of Ceará, which obtained the arrest warrant in an investigation against a criminal organization operating in the Northeast.
The MC was arrested in the city of Magé, in Rio de Janeiro, while traveling on the Washington Luiz Highway (BR 040) for an incident in the mining town of Juiz de Fora. He lives in Jardim Catarina, in São Gonçalo.
According to the Police, MC Fabuloso produced videos praising the performance of the drug trafficker known as Mago Caucaia, head of the criminal faction that commands drug trafficking in that state. According to the information, Caucaia was detained on July 8, in Piauí, during an interstate action by the Ceará Civil Police. His right hand man was a criminal suspected of participating in more than 100 homicides in the Northeast and who was killed in a confrontation with CORE agents on July 31, in the west of Rio.
Nine years ago, MC Fabuloso was mentioned in the blog of the journalist Roberta Trindade as the person in charge of the song “O Mestre and his fabulous cast”, in homage to Antônio Francisco Bonfim Lopes, Nem, who at that time was the head of drug trafficking in Rocinha.
