During his time at the “BBB” 20, Dr. Marcela McGowan said that she is going through a “deconstruction process” and has raised the banner of feminism on several occasions. Now, outside the home, she says she has received many positive messages from women:
– They say they woke up. That he was free was an inspiration. This is my best gift. That’s what I was thinking inside: ‘If I made a difference, it was worth it.’
Marcela says that, during this transformation, she reflected a lot on previous relationships:
– I had some very difficult relationships. I had no idea they were abusive. I came to understand that they were messing with my head when I started the deconstruction process. How blind we are and we allow ourselves to be hurt … It was a surprising discovery, but good for me to see what I no longer want.

According to her, the changes are reflected even in the way she dresses. During the program, internet users found old photos in which the doctor appears in a different style. She was called “patricinha” and compared to the character Blair from the series “Gossip girl”:
– They told me that. I already told people it was like that. I was raised to be a princess, by standards. About three years ago, I started to change, including how I dressed and dealt with my body. I was a slave to all that we women are.
The physicist, in fact, became a cause for concern at a certain point in the doctor’s life:
– When I worked as a model outside the country, I had very difficult times to develop bulimia. They were charging me enough to be on a standard. Then I spent phases of my life concerned about the gym, wanting to take good care of my body. Later I started to relax, freeing myself from having a certain body. To join the ‘BBB’, I was surprised at some point because the story is of women within a standard. My 2019 was of little dedication in this regard. I had just moved to another city, I was living a relationship. I did not worry. When the show came, it hit something, then fell silent. One of my biggest learnings.
