It was based on conversation, video, little in the field. Since we understood how the game would be, I passed what I had information from Atlético-GO, because I know him well. We had a certain advantage at the time, but on the other side there were athletes who know how I think.

– Corinthians understood the game in the second stage, they suffered in the first, but again, a Corinthians far from what I hope is evolving. – It’s difficult to talk about next Saturday’s line-up. Obviously I have several athletes on hand. Only Araos did not have the opportunity to play, but he is an athlete who was even summoned today. Since I have seen, with América-MG, some difficulty with Xavier and Éderson, I have to make changes because the physical aspect ended up weighing. Maintaining Xavier might not have been the best idea, so much so that I fired at halftime. But I have other players, like Cantillo, who may have left the midfield very open. So I chose Xavier and Gabriel.

– Throughout the week we will try other ways to play, even to be able to climb the 11 that are best at the moment. We may have Jô back in a bit, which will help a lot on the offensive side. I’m trying, within the squad, to find a suitable formation for the game, which I don’t like, I like having a defined team.

– I think we should be imposing ourselves more on the field of play, but the imposition of a football team is not in speech, in the verbal part or in what people think. It’s about going out onto the field and showing your opponent what you can do. I agree, I think that in the last two games the team improved in the second half after the modifications. We have to connect a key so that athletes understand the need we have to do well in both times. Today, perhaps we could be talking about two more points won if the team had entered fully concentrated in the first half. He played a game down and had to go for it. He managed to equalize early in the second half, but it was insufficient to achieve victory. We see all this.

– Given this scenario of sequential games, little recovery time, it is that the exchanges are being carried out. But, since we only have the Brazilian Championship, we have to balance the physical, tactical and technical part so that the team does not oscillate so much, which gives the opponent the opportunity to arrive and disturb. This imposition must happen from the moment you are confident and convinced on the field.

– As a technician, I have to try all the pieces to try to find the ideal 11, but at the same time, the market does not offer many things.
