Bruna was killed by her ex-partner in front of her 4-year-old son
The man who stabbed his ex-partner on Saturday afternoon, in Jardim Ouro Verde, in Bauru, was arrested this Sunday morning (14) by the Military Police. After receiving an anonymous notice that a silver Corsa Classic was stopped on a dirt road that gives access to the district of Tibiriçá, the corporation went to the place and found Luiz Antonio de Araújo Felix, 26, inside the vehicle.
To the police, he confessed to the crime, alleged that he attacked former partner Bruna Giovana da Silva, 24, because she felt angry and had no intention of killing her. As reported by JCNET, the telemarketing operator was killed in front of the condominium in which he lived, in the 38 block of Castelo Branco Avenue.
Through the PM, Luiz Antonio said that he went to the residence to bring money to Bruna, since they have a 4-year-old son. They would have argued when the man took a knife from the car and hit him.
Images from security cameras show that the offender attacked the young woman while her back was turned, leaving the place of the couple’s son, who witnessed the crime. They beat her several times. Perforations were identified in the back, chest, neck, head and hands, according to information provided by Samu’s team, who witnessed death on the spot.
The images show that, after the attack, the man fled in his Corsa Classic. Also according to Luiz Antonio’s testimony to the prime minister, he and Bruna were married for about four years and the relationship had ended about eight months ago. He also said that he had no passage through the prison system.
According to eyewitness accounts, Luiz Antonio and Bruna had had disagreements for some time, including disagreements related to their son’s alimony. The man was arrested in flagrante delicto for the crime of femicide and sent to the Avaí Public Prison. The knife used in the crime was found inside the car and was seized.
