On the afternoon of Friday 2, two people running on the edge of Meia Praia, in Itapema, were struck by lightning.
According to the Fire Department, one of the victims, a 47-year-old man, was transferred to the Santo Antônio Hospital, but did not resist and died.
The man was treated with high priority after cardiopulmonary arrest and the other showed signs of disorientation. The fatal victim was undocumented, so the identity has yet to be released.

According to firefighters, an ambulance and a truck were activated to assist the victims. At that time, they found that a man had suffered CPR (cardiorespiratory arrest).
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures were started. After being sent to the hospital, the procedures continued, but the victim did not resist.
