São Paulo will not have Luciano against Atlético-MG, this Wednesday (16), for the 26th day of the Brasileirão. The forward had a slight stretch in the adductor muscle of his left thigh and will not be available for Fernando Diniz in the match to be played in Morumbi.
The 27-year-old athlete was handed over to Reffis, the São Paulo Tricolor medical department, and the recovery work has already begun. The club does not reveal the deadline for its return to the pitch, but it is possible that it will be available to the technical committee next Wednesday (23), against Grêmio, for the semifinal of the Copa do Brasil 2020.
Luciano is one of the main names in São Paulo this season. The forward scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 28 games for Fernando Diniz’s team.
Fernando Diniz has some options to choose São Paulo against Atlético-MG, this Wednesday. Without Luciano, the technician can use Pablo or Vitor Bueno on paper. There are still other names available, like Jonas Toró and Paulinho Boia.
