Twenty one dead e 260 accidents. This is the balance of the weekend that wrapped the All Souls Day holiday in roads from Minas Gerais, according to the balance of the state and federal road police.
The highest number of deaths was recorded on highways under the jurisdiction of the Federal Highway Police (PRF). There are 10 in total, which occurred in BR’s 050, 381, 116, 365, 251, 040 and 262.
In total, there were 10 fatal accidents. That is, in each one of them one person died. The most violent date was precisely the Day of the Dead, the return home, when four people died.
Two people died on each of the other three days of operation: Friday (30), Saturday (31) and Sunday (1st).
Additionally, the PRF inspected 8,093 vehicles, resulting in 442 fines. 338 drivers without seat belts and 122 passengers were trapped in the same condition.
Regarding alcohol consumption, 37 people were fined and five arrested. In addition, 28 tickets were issued for children without a seat.
State highways
On the roads served by the State Highway Police (PRE) there were 11 deaths in 129 accidents, 90 of them with victims.
815 evident and 297 drivers with expired driving licenses were identified. No fewer than 423 vehicles were collected and 10 stolen vehicles were recovered by the police.
There were also arrests for possession of drugs: 11 notifications for traffic and 144 for possession.
Also, five prison they were carried out on mining roads under the jurisdiction of the PRE.
76 inspections of Lei Seca. A total of 4,138 alcohol tests were conducted. 24,969 vehicle inspections were carried out, with 28,758 people approached.
The PRE also reported two cases of irregular passenger transport and 5,707 traffic violations were recorded.
