Around 6:30 pm on Sunday (10), the Brazilians could see a movement of lights in the sky. Contrary to what many thought, this is not a visit from another planet, but rather the passage of SpaceX’s Starlink satellites.
On the night of this Mother’s Day, social networks were taken by several images that recorded the passage of the Elon Musk space fleet. The phenomenon had already been witnessed by curious lenses in Brazil during the month of April, and will be repeated a few more times here.
Anyone who wants to follow the path of SpaceX satellites can use the Find Starlink app, which also has a web version. The tool works in a very simple way: it enters your location and tells you exactly when there will be a bright passage from a Starlink satellite. In Brazil, a new “satellite train” should cross the skies around 7pm on Monday (11).
Starlink visibility in São Paulo (SP)
SpaceX launches many 60 satellites and, as they slowly advance into orbit, they are visible to the naked eye as a line of bright lights moving in the night sky. Currently, 422 Starlink satellites are already in orbit, and the number is expected to increase to 4,408 by the end of this year.

If you see lights like that in the sky in the next few days, don’t panic
They are not UFOs, Jesus is not yet coming and they are not meteorites
These are billionaire Elon’s Starlink satellites, which are intended to distribute Internet access worldwide
